If he were alive today, I’d say to him that while I agreed with him, I’d rather hear him play live than have him play forever on the record player in my living room. I suppose we’d have to agree to disagree, because I don’t expect that he would be very flexible on such points. We’d laugh and then perhaps go for a walk down College St. and talk about the CBC.
